Values
Love- My attitude, life, and priorities will revolve around loving God and loving my neighbor (Matthew 22: 36-40).
Joy- I will have a deep inner contentment, indifferent to my circumstances, because of God’s goodness (Romans 12: 12 and 1Thessalonians 5: 16).
Peace- I am free from worry and anxiety because things are right between God, others and myself (Philippians 4: 6-7).
Patience- I will be patient with others because God is patient with me (Ephesians 4: 2).
Kindness/Goodness- I will do to others what I would want them to do to me (Matthew 7: 12).
Faithfulness- I will be faithful to fulfill God’s will and responsibilities for my life (Matthew 25: 21).
Gentleness- I will be thoughtful, sensitive, considerate and calm in dealing with others (Ephesians 4: 2).
Self-Control- I have the power in Christ, to control myself and yield my life to the Spirit of God (1Thessalonians 5: 6-8).
Humility- I will consider others more important than myself (Philippians 2: 3-4).
Hope- I will persevere through the hardships of life and death because of the glorious hope I have in Jesus Christ (Hebrews 6: 19).
Our Core values are based on the Fruit of the Spirit found in Galatians 5: 22-23. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.”
Our Hope is that when people see us as individuals, they will see Jesus Christ in us and desire Jesus Christ for themselves!
